Thoughts:I don't feel I have the words to say about how great this book was. This is NOT my usual type of read. If you were to make this non-fiction, it'd be the exact opposite of what I usually read. What I usually stay Far away from.
But I've been having a very strong interest in understanding WWI for the past few years and I'm finally beginning to read about it and watch documentaries on it. Idk why I want to know who, what, when, where, and why but it just hit me one day that I didn't so I should find out. (I research as a hobby. :)
More than just giving me facts (I'm gonna have enough of that when I read Wii For Dummies, New Edition (For Dummies) it gave me a firsthand account from the front lines. Beautifully written Paul was such an emotionally open character I....
This review just...I simply can't.
It's a great read, beautifully written, and a page-turner for sure.
