Amazing. Gory and terrifying. Stuck with me long after reading.

Scoutmaster Tim takes his troop of boy scouts to their yearly trip to an island off the coast of everyone's home town. There's Kent, the popular strong/jockish kid, Newton, who's a bit of a nerd, Shelley, who is super odd and quietly disturbed, and Ephraim and Max, BFF's.
A man stumbles upon the island and changes things for the worst for everybody. He's hungry, so so so very hungry, and something is inside of him that is so dangerous to everybody.

I can't get over how this book stuck with me everytime I put it down. Had me so scared every night and came to me in my dreams nightmares. I live for books that Ruin me and terrify the hell out of me. I've been asking around for recommendations on super scary books all Fall and this definitely sufficed. I need books that get inside your brain like little worms and move around and terrify you days after.! This did that! -_o
