This novel just hit close to home and dealt with such realistic issues in a real way.
This book made me feel such real emotions.
The sexism from the cop saying a girl couldnt have possibly done the art "attacks" was so real.
The PTSD from the attack and her mom's overprotectiveness and her mother's fear making her even more afraid was so very real.
The part of wanting to fit in with the underdogs so badly and of wanting to make the world beautiful and have meaning and Alive again I didn't understand at first and made me want to DNF because of it's "unrealisticness" but in the end it made so much more sense than I'd realized.
My fave was sportyJane. Her line on "do you want me to beat him up?" after her friend goes through a hard time with a crush is just so ME.
I didn't like every character just relying on "MainJane".
