Never have I ever thought a book about vampires would scare me or keep me up at night. But of course Stephen King does it again.!
In Salem's Lot, Ben Mears goes back to his hometown for inspiration while writing his book. And to face his childhood fears. Little does he know, in hindsight, he was pretty smart as a child to be afraid of things that go bump in the night. And of finding the dead looking back at you...
Of course with Stephen King's talent for terror, something as simple and unscary, to me, as vampires have become a terrifying "what if?????" story in my day to day thoughts and especially in my thoughts while trying to go to sleep. Now I'm definitely gonna wonder about real ghost towns... This is (Of Course) a real page turner and a (Of Course) brilliantly and terrifyingly told story.
