Running Out of Time by Margaret Peterson HaddixMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Running Out of Time is one of my favorite Children's/YA books of all time and is rated 5 stars because I read it during such a hard time in my life. And this book helped get me through that difficult time.
That is not to take away from the actual book however. It is also very 5 star worthy. The twists, turns, and surprises kept me on the edge of my seat.
Jessie is one of the strongest heroines/characters I've read this year because she's also one of the realest. She was scared and chose to still be brave. I needed to read about someone like her at this point in my life.
